MOCK POST: The Ultimate Book Blogger Scavenger Hunt Giveaway

Happy New Year, book-lovers! As we are bombarded with the release of new books and the stress of midyear term papers and tests, we have to be mindful of the fact that it's a brand new year. Everyone is handed a 'get-out of jail free card' in life and we're sort of allowed to make mistakes and start over. To start of the new year the right way, a group of bloggers and I have come together to bring you something new. Hosted by the wonderful Talina @ Sassy and Dangerous and I, we present...

The Ultimate Book Blogger Scavenger Hunt Giveaway

Each blogger in the lineup has a post set up for the event. Their post will include a keyword that is highlighted in the bulk of the post. So keep your eyes open for that highlighted word! That keyword will be your entry for the giveaway! At the end of each post, there will be a list of the other bloggers that are participating and you can just follow the links to enter some of their giveaways as well! All giveaways end on January 31st, 2016, so you better get on it! If you're confused and still have questions or concerns, please contact me right away and I'll get back to you in a jiffy!
(each blogger should include this in their post somehow, just this paragraph above)

So... Let's begin!

Any of you fans of Lillytales on Instagram? She's the amazing mastermind behind all these high quality wooden bookmarks. Nook and Burrow is a online site that features the products of both Lillytales and Form & Flux. Lillytales holds tons of beautiful handcrafted wooden bookmarks, pins, weave wall hangings, and jewelry. Form & Flux features handmade and upcycled items that include bookish candles.

  • PRICE | Okay, the price is honestly not bad for the quality bookmarks you're getting. Most bookmarks on the page are $8 but there's a $4 dollar shipping fee if you live in the US. It's not bad at all! I mean, if you get the custom order it's definitely going to cost more. I had no trouble going back for another one just after I purchased my $20 custom order.
  • QUALITY | These wooden bookmarks are beautifully hand-crafted. The bookish designs will call to your inner booknerd and there's no way you can refuse when you look through the several pages of bookmarks. I spend five minutes looking and ended up with 7 different items in my cart! The wood does chip easily and you won't find yourself getting splinters every few minutes.
  • SHIPPING | It's a Melbourne-based online store so if you live in the US, RIP your wallet. I'm kidding, but the shipping prices are not kind. Still, however, I believe it's definitely worth it to get more than one bookmark in one order so the shipping doesn't accumulate.
  • DURABILITY | Okay... don't judge me too harshly but I tried to bend one of my bookmarks. In all fairness though, I was just trying to test its durability to report back to my friend who wanted a very sturdy bookmark. You're definitely getting what you paid for and more because this bookmark will last long till you're gone (lmfao).
  • APPEARANCE | Each bookmark is made uniquely. It's made from wood and every piece has different wood spirals (is that what they are called), which makes these bookmarks extremely remarkable. If you buy a colored one, the colors are vibrant and are glazed over with a smooth satin finish for protection. The images and words are opaque, not faded.
A variety of designs and more to look through!

And now.. to share the wealth :D
